Mobile Phone Gambling The Way Forward
First the real thing, then PCs, now mobile phones – casino gambling is aiming for pocket-sized convenience now, according to a leading industry figure.
Brian Wright is the business director at the RGA (Remote Gambling Association) and said that mobiles offer an ideal device to support gambling for gaming enthusiasts.
He admitted that it is difficult to predict how mobile gaming will grow, but said that the advancement of mobile and WAP technology meant that mobile phones are “becoming mutual products.
“You can now almost have the same display on your mobile phone as you do on your PC,” he noted.
“For a while now people have been saying mobile gaming is the next big thing,” he continued. “I wouldn’t say that it will overtake the internet but there will be a levelling off where one very much looks like the other.”
