More Gamblers Back Bush
All the votes have been cast in Fortune City’s Presidential Poll this week, with the surprising results that a higher percentage of online gamblers back Bush in the forthcoming presidential elections. Bush gained 54% of the vote from Kerry in a poll that was constantly swinging back and forth from its inception on April 1st. It certainly seems odd that people would vote for a government which seeks to outlaw one of their favourite pastimes, but who are we to question such things?
Dennis Rose, Senior Vice President at Casino Fortune, explained the idea behind the poll and the company’s pledge to donate $100,000 to the winner:
'Gamblers are voters, wealthy, and have rights too, and we expect that many American gamblers will voice their opinions on the electoral process, especially how the current state of affairs affects their rights. This poll is an excellent means for us to further establish the will of millions of patriotic American gamblers. Online gambling is legal according to the recent WTO ruling and will continue to grow.”
Rose added, ' We are confident the winner will respect the rights Americans who wish to gamble and realize the importance of regulating and taxing our huge industry.'
Whether the Bush Campaign will accept money from an online casino remains to be seen…
