EGET

European Game & Entertainment Technology Ltd Ab (EGET), a Finnish supplier of online gaming solutions, held its Annual General Meeting yesterday and completed its financial statement for 2003. For EGET the year 2003 turned out to be a positive and profitable one. EGET’s turnover reached 4.12 million euros, while EBITDA increased to 1.03 million euros.

EGET specializes in developing, licensing and hosting highly profitable interactive gaming solutions for licensed gaming operators in fully regulated jurisdictions. The company’s customer base consists of casino, lottery, event betting and horse-racing industries.

2003 was full of groundbreaking positive events for EGET. First of all, Swedish Spero took EGET’s WinOne™ gaming platform and instant games into commercial use. This can be marked into the history records as the first time when an Internet implementation outside state operators received a license from the Swedish National Gaming Board (Lotteriinspektionen).

Secondly, in 2003 EGET made its entrance to the mobile gaming world as it delivered a mobile Graphical User Interface to the horse-racing operator Fintoto. The mobile GUI enhanced EGET’s earlier delivery of the Internet tote betting solution for Fintoto.

Thirdly, last year several new casino games were delivered to Ålands Penningautomatförening (PAF). PAF stands out as the first Scandinavian gaming operator with progressive Internet jackpot and with over 55.000 registered Internet players. PAF carries on being firmly dedicated to further expand and upgrade its already wide game portfolio of casino, instant, lottery and sports betting games also during 2004.

Fourthly, during the year 2003 EGET made a strategic decision to further enhance its WinOne™ product portfolio with a completely renewed real-time event betting solution. The end result was that by the end of the year 2003 EGET signed an agreement to deliver a sports betting system to Spordiennustus - a subsidiary of Estonian Olympic Committee. The delivery of the sports betting system was successfully completed in April 2004.
