Intralot Receives Tasmania License
Athens-based lottery systems supplier Intralot is set to expand its presence in Australia after receiving a gaming license from the island state of Tasmania last week.
The Greek firm is the world’s second-largest supplier of lottery services after Italy’s Lottomatica and announced that it would soon begin operating a variety of lottery and instant games including keno, bingo and pick three for the state’s 500,000 residents through a network of more than 80 points of sale.
'We are pleased to expand our presence to a third Australian state in such a short period of time,' said Constantine Antonopoulos, Chief Executive Officer for Intralot.
'Keno and instant tickets are extremely popular in Tasmania and Intralot is looking forward to increasing the gaming choices of the Tasmanian players.'
