While several thousand players have been battling it out in Las Vegas, the men behind the Series have been busy finalising the dates for the World Series of Poker Circuit in 2008-9. The events offer high-stakes tournament buy-ins all year round, with the chance to win a seat to the 2009 WSOP Main Event also part of the lure.
'Playing World Series of Poker Circuit events is the best way to hone your live tournament poker skills in a friendly and competitive environment,' said Jeffrey Pollack, Commissioner of the World Series of Poker. 'We continue to fine tune the World Series of Poker Circuit schedule and structures to deliver poker players the best tournaments throughout the year.'
The Circuit will kick off in Indiana at the beginning of October, with the tour then travelling around America before the tenth and final event is played out in New Orleans.
