Online Casino Chips In for Sick Boy
This week the online casino now famed for making odd purchases on the Internet has yet again used online auction site ebay to get some publicity.
GoldenPalace has placed $10,700 to help a young boy have a biopsy for a tumour at the base of his skull. The nine-year-old lad has been suffering from the tumour for 2 years
'I think it's awesome they did this,' The boy’s Mother, Tiffani Dingman-Grover said. 'I just hope their hearts are in the right place because they wanted to help David, not because they wanted to help themselves with publicity.”
GoldenPalace spokesman Monty Kerr said company officials had been following the auction as well as Dingman-Grover's mocking words in the media about frivolous auctions -- and felt compelled to get involved.
'We've had a lot of fun buying strange things on eBay, but when we saw David's auction we knew we'd have to help him,' Kerr said.
