Boden Appointed Devilfish Executive Chairman
London-listed online casino operator Devilfish Gaming has announced that David Boden has succeeded Kevin Leech as Executive Chairman.
The Manchester-based firm revealed that Leech would stay on as a Non-Executive Director and thanked him for the critical part he played in the formation and development of the company.
'I am very happy that the board have secured the services of such a high-profile gaming industry expert and I take great pleasure in David taking over the Executive Chairmanship of the company,” said Leech.
Boden began his career with Mecca Leisure in 1977 and rose through the ranks to become its Operations Director in 1989. He became Managing Director of Rank Amusements in 1994 before serving as Managing Director of Grosvenor Casinos two years later. In 1999, he was promoted and given overall responsibility for Rank Group Gaming Division and became a member of the board in 2005. During his tenure as the head of Rank Group Gaming Division, which included Rank's BlueSquare.com online business, turnover grew to over two billion dollars with profits exceeding $240 million.

Boden has also served as a Director at Business In Sport And Leisure, Deputy Chairman of the Bingo Association and a Council Member of the British Casino Association.
