Trident Group and Gambling Online Magazine Honoured by CIC
The Casino Integrity Commission (CIC) has awarded its first seals of approval to the Trident casino group and its Industry Acknowledgment Award to Gambling Online Magazine.
Founded in October 2002, CIC is a non-profit organization devoted to safeguarding gamer's rights and promoting integrity in the industry.
Director of the CIC Joel Mikkelsen says, 'There still is a void of trust for this industry. Casinos often have to contend with players who have less than honourable intentions. On the other hand, honest players in some instances are forced to jump through hoops to obtain their rightful winnings or bonuses.'
In order to receive its Seal of Approval a casino must meet strict requirements and exhibit a strong commitment to its customers. Trident spokesman, Scott Gaines, said, 'The CIC requirements match our own ideas of what a quality casino should offer, and we are happy to support them in their efforts to improve the standard of service in the industry and protect the interests of players.'
