In an attempt to bolster the casino side of its online gaming operation, BoDog.com, one of the world’s largest online sportsbooks, has announced plans this week to incorporate the RealTime online gaming platform into its existing casino package. According to BoDog.com the decision is largely customer driven. “Many BoDog.com users wanted a way to play within their sports book account, and wanted a larger variety of the most popular Las Vegas Casino games,” said a spokesperson, and variety is just what RealTime can offer. Once up and running, the RealTime platform will bring over 60 different games to BoDog.com players.
In terms of business expansion, the contract is significant for both parties. For RealTime it represents another major player under its wing, but for it also marks the first time BoGog.com has looked outside its own company for the development of a player-facing software product and both parties are thrilled at the venture. “We’re looking forward to bringing something this big to our players…it really completes our site as a one-stop gaming centre,” says Rob Gillespie, President of BoDog.com.
Michael Staw, RealTime Gaming President agreed: “We’ve got a great software product and they have a great gaming operation – it’s a perfect match.”
