First online gambling company to receive a US trademark
Bodog.com has announced that it has become an officially licensed trademark in the United States of America. It is the first online gambling company to receive a US trademark.
'We have been building a solid mainstream brand over the previous years, and this is a culmination of many people’s efforts to aid this process,” said Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO of Bodog.com Sports Casino Poker. “With the rapid growth of poker, online gambling has been moving to a much more mainstream entity, as opposed to being taboo, and we saw this as a key opportunity to trademark our brand.”
