Nevada Senate approves wireless gaming in Nevada Casinos
Diamond I, a developer of wireless gaming products, have advised that the Nevada Senate approved Assembly Bill No.471, which authorizes the use of mobile communication devices, such as the company's WifiCasino GS wireless gaming system, for gaming in public areas in Nevada casinos.
Diamond I's WifiCasino GS is a secure wireless PDA-based gambling and media network designed for Las Vegas-style casinos and resorts, as well as cruise ships and race tracks. The WifiCasino GS is designed to allow patrons to gamble anywhere on a casino's, ship's or track's premises (as permitted by regulatory bodies), including in restaurants, pool-side and at the bar.
'Once the Bill is signed into law by Governor Guinn, and the Gaming Commission completes its rule-making process, the door will be open for us to get our WifiCasino GS licensed in Nevada,' explained David Loflin, president of Diamond I. 'Going 'live' in Las Vegas with our WifiCasino GS will allow casinos to expand their patrons' gaming experience in an economical and technologically exciting way.'
