UltimateBet.net has announces that it is giving players a chance to win a seat directly to a televised final table to play for a total prize pool of $250,000.
Anyone can qualify for the UltimateBet.net World Poker Challenge by downloading the UltimateBet.net software and playing in one of the scheduled free tournaments. Winners will be sent directly to a televised final table.
The UltimateBet.net World Poker Challenge is a series of six tournaments, hosted by the Hollywood Park Casino in Los Angeles California, which will be televised nationally by Fox Sports Net every Saturday night at 11PM beginning June 18, 2005.
There are over 48 chances each week for online players to test their poker skills and win a seat at the UltimateBet.net World Poker Challenge to play at the final tables. The television series beginning in June will give away $10,000 weekly leading up to the $200,000 winner-take-all final event on July 23rd. Six online players have already secured their seats at the June 18th inaugural tournament. The online qualification period for show 2 is currently under way.
The six weekly winners will be flown to Los Angeles from their hometown, where they will receive deluxe hotel accommodations, ground transportation, meals and a seat at that week's final table, televised by Fox Sports Net.
