Citadel Commerce sponsors $100,000 poker tournament

Citadel Commerce has announced it is sponsoring the Online Series of Poker (OSOP) Leader Board. OSOP is the first time a tournament has been held across multiple online poker rooms. The online poker rooms involved, Party Poker, Ultimate Bet, PokerRoom, Absolute Poker, and Golden Palace Poker, will each play host to two OSOP tournaments.

Michael Meeks, President of Citadel Commerce Corp. said, 'We are pleased to participate in the OSOP tournament as we believe that it provides a unique opportunity for us to increase our visibility to international poker players.'

Jay Lakin, VP of OSOP commented, 'We are proud that Citadel has elected to support our poker tournament. With a large existing user-base and one of the most recognized brand names in the gaming industry, Citadel's participation helps increase our visibility, and with their endorsement, it demonstrates that we are offering a new and exciting product to poker players around the world.'

OSOP allows worldwide online poker players the opportunity to win a share of $100,000 in prize money at the Online Series Of Poker Championship Freeroll Event by qualifying through online poker tournaments at participating online poker rooms. The winner of each tournament will get a seat at the OSOP $100,000 Championship, to be held on Oct. 8, 2005, at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, N.J.

The winner of the Championship will take home $30,000, but even tenth place receives $5,000, so everybody will enjoy a healthy payday.
