Electronic Game Card Gains NIGC Approval

Electronic Game Card, Inc (OTCBB: EGMI), the US rewards based games company, is pleased to announce it has received an Opinion from the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) that EGC’s Tribal Numbers™ GameCard has been designated as a Class II device under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.

The NIGC rendered the Opinion that the Tribal Numbers™ electronic GameCard satisfies the Act on all counts as a technologic aid to the scratchcard featured on the card, allowing the sale of the EGC Gamecard in Indian Country to the public (subject to Class II provisions).

“This designation is significant because Class II gaming is not subject to the Tribal-State Compacts pursuant to which states exert control over the type of gaming allowed on Tribal Land. Tribes retain their authority to conduct, license, and regulate class II gaming so long as the state in which the Tribe is located permits such gaming. This means that any Tribe now wishing to sell the Tribal Numbers™ GameCard to the public can do so in compliance with the NIGC rulings,” Scott Walker, Senior Consultant to Electronic Game Card, Inc on the Tribal Numbers project, explained.

The GameCard is a soft form of gaming entertainment which adds extra appeal for a player away from the slots floor of a casino which is designed to bring casino operators incremental revenue.

“The Indian Gaming market is now very substantial with revenues at over $18 billion a year with Class II product growing much faster than Class III. The novelty of the EGC pocket product carrying classic games well known to the public should add an extra revenue stream attractive to the Tribes,' John Bentley, Chairman of Electronic Game Card, Inc, concluded.
