Hills Strengthen International Products with US Pool Betting
William Hill has enhanced its International Sportsbook offering this week, with the launch of a pool-based service for USA Racing products on both their telephone and online platforms.
William Hill is now offering their clients the opportunity to bet directly into the US pools, meaning they can provide the full range of bets and opportunities for their remote clients, and thereby allow the customer to capitalise on the exotic pool bets that are popular in the States. All bets struck will be automatically converted into American Dollars and placed into the US pools, with returns converted back into Sterling.
In the past, American racing products have been limited and were only available to telebetting and retail customers, but now this service, in partnership with TRNi, puts Hills to the fore with their international products and is sure to be a boost to all the armchair fans of the televised American racing.
Hills’ spokesman David Hood said: 'This launch into the US pools gives Hills customers much broader opportunities than they have ever had before. Couple the late night US racing, with the Australian racing product (horses, harness & greyhounds) that is broadcast on Sky Channel 425 in the mornings, and our international product offering consolidates our position as not just the UK's leading bookmakers, but one of the worlds. Whilst we continue to work on a technical solution to allow mingling into the Australian pools as well, we are still accepting bets on the product, on an SP basis, across all areas of our business.'
