Online Casino GoldenPalace Spreads the Word via Cow Herd
GoldenPalace.com continued its policy of pulling off bizarre publicity stunts to advertise the site. The company had www.goldenpalace.com painted onto the bodies of 100 cows grazing in a field by a busy highway in Florida.
The campaign has even been backed by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) some of the beasts were even painted with pro-vegetarian slogans.
“When we heard about this campaign, we were looking forward to working with GoldenPalace.com,” said PETA representative Dan Shannon. “This advertising idea promotes Golden Palace’s company, as well as PETA’s vegetarian philosophy. Better to paint the cows than eat them.”
The idea to use the cows for advertising was devised by Bruce Zalkin who sold the ‘advertising space’ on eBay. The owner of the herd, Lem Chesser was delighted that he could make some money from the cows without having to slaughter them.
