Online casino takes advertising to another level
For the sum of $13,000, Viva La Bam wrestlers Leatherface and The Executioner will get Golden Palace Casino tattoos on their forearms. The online casino won the bid after ‘Leatherface’ started the auction a few weeks ago, failing twice to capture the attention of any potential ‘advertisers’ before grabbing the attention of Golden Palace.
This is not the first time GoldenPalace.com has turned heads by using human advertising. In August 2005, it paid $18,000 to shave a woman’s head and permanently tattoo ‘GoldenPalacePoker.com’.
GoldenPalace.com CEO Richard Rowe said: “This is a new step in edgy marketing, and people are sure to take notice. With all the advertising clutter out there, I think this type of human advertising will become more and more popular”.
