Caprice teaches City the art of Paradise Poker
Over 100 members of London's financial community including top fund managers, bankers and brokers played in a Paradise Poker tournament at London's trendy Gutshot Poker Club. The top four finishers from last night's event now go forward to a Paradise Grand Final where they could win at seat at next years World Series of Poker in Las Vegas worth $10,000.
Last night's tournament was organised by Sportingbet plc, one of the world's leading online betting and gaming groups, and city firm Investec. Sportingbet acquired Paradise Poker for £190 million in November 2004.
Paradise Poker star Caprice, said:
'I really enjoyed showing these City boys how to play poker. I'm sure they are great at their day jobs but they sure have a lot to learn about Texas Hold'em! I'd be happy to take them on anytime at Paradise Poker.com.'
