UK Newspaper Launches Online Poker Room
A free to enter online tournament is being offered to Sun Online in celebration of the opening of their new online poker room - Sun Poker. The tournament will send the final top nine players to the Grand Final at London’s Palm Beach Casino in December, where they will battle it out to win over Ł30,000 in prizes, including a Mini Cooper.
The new site is the product of a deal signed between Sun Online and Victor Chandler. Sun Online’s Head of Commercial Development, Amy Copeland says they have wanted to expand into the online poker market for some time. “VC Poker’s technology, marketing experience and large community of players, made them a natural choice for The Sun to work with.”
