Good Year for Online Casino Software Firm AngelCiti
AngelCiti Entertainment Inc., the online casino software developer, posted unexpected results which showed the firm’s profits had soared in the third quarter of 2005. The company, owned by Worldwide Management, announced an impressive 28.5 % leap in its figures and gross net win of $270,841 from a total of $6,994,216.
“We’re pleased to again be showing a positive trend from our core operations and fully expect to continue to carry that trend into the fourth quarter,” commented AngelCiti’s George Gutierrez. “The tide of the meteoric rise of online poker seems to have subsided, resulting in players returning to their old forms of online entertainment, such as online casinos. That, combined with re-focused marketing efforts and new games provided by our software seems to be garnering additional customers and play to our platform.”
The online gambling industry, widely tipped to suffer a slump this year has seen several promising profit reports posted amongst some of the bigger players in the market.
