In an interview with CBS ‘60 Minutes’ to be broadcast on Sunday November 20, Nigel Payne, Chief Executive of Sportingbet PLC, discusses how he believes the United States should be further taking advantage of the multi-billion dollar online gaming market.
The television programme investigates the size, scale and explosive growth of the Internet gaming industry. Online gaming is now licensed and taxed in 63 countries worldwide and Nigel Payne makes the case that regulating online gaming is the safest way to ensure responsible gaming. Payne says, “America is one of the largest gambling markets in the world… the right thing to do is to regulate it and embrace proper social parameters through regulatory control.”
The programme will also feature interviews with Steve Lipscomb (CEO of the World Poker Tour), Terry Lanni (CEO of MGM Mirage) and US Senator Jon Kyl.
