New UK Casino Opens Doors
The Gala Casino in Sunderland is set to be a state-of-the-art venue and it is nearly ready to open.
The hi-tech casino is hoping that the opening night will be the biggest party the city has ever seen. General manager, Phil Tait said, “It's an amazing casino and it's going to be an even more amazing launch party. We can't wait to throw open the doors and welcome members for the first time.”
With 21 gaming tables – nearly triple the number at Gala's old North Bridge Street venue – the 28,000 sq ft casino will offer games including American Roulette, Blackjack, Jackpot Stud Poker and Brag.
To accommodate the locals’ love of football there is also a giant suspended glass screen showing the latest action across the Premier League and the world of sport. This brand new technology has never been used before in any of the company's other 28 UK casinos.
