Raids By Israeli Police On Gambling Offices

The online gambling media offices of Internet websites, Walla! and Sport Line were raided earlier this week after reports that they were advertising illegal online gambling websites. The search was carried out by the Israeli Police National Fraud Unit and prompted by the Attorney General and the State Prosecutor’s Office, in a bid to obtain evidence, where potential suspects and witnesses were interviewed.

Walla! has been accused of promoting illegal gambling sites, including Stan James and King Solomon Casino, and allegedly Sport Line had also advertised a gambling website.

The Police Investigations and Security Department were directed to take action against advertising for gambling websites.
