William Hill To Sponsor Poker Awards
The European Poker Awards has a new sponsor and a new venue. The awards, which began in 2000, have previously been held at the Grand Casino in Helsinki, Finland. However, this year the ceremony has moved to the ACF Club in Paris and will be sponsored by Williamhillpoker.com.
Dan Taylor, Director of Online Gaming at William Hill said, ‘I'm delighted to place the William Hill poker brand beside these coveted Awards. I feel the exceptionally high standards achieved by all of this year's winners is the same benchmark Williamhillpoker is achieving. I congratulate all of the 2005 award winners and wish them similar success in 2006.’
This year’s awards are to be held on Sunday January 8, 2006, and will be hosted by Dave 'Compo' Compton.
