New Sign-Up Record for Online Casino
PartyGaming has announced that the 4th quarter of 2005 was its most successful ever for generating new players. Consequently, PartyGaming has made the bold assertion that they may soon become the world’s biggest online casino. The record 229,227 new players added during the last quarter of 2005 brought the number of real money sign-ups for the year to 839,317 – well ahead of PartyGaming’s target of 800,000.
A PartyGaming press release said that the company’s current trading position has remained strong since the start of 2005 and is in line with the board’s expectations of growth. However, the level of activity on Blackjack has fallen since the extremely high levels recorded in the first weeks after launch but recently it has stabilised at a gross revenue of $0.8m per day.
