Poker Brat vs. Paparazzi Brat at W Las Vegas
The W Las Vegas, a planned hotel-casino and condominium in Las Vegas, has two of the world’s highest-profile brats moving in: professional poker player Phil Hellmuth and professional party girl Paris Hilton.
Hellmuth recently won the W Las Vegas Poker Invitational, a celebrity poker tournament hosted by the residence-to-be at the Sundance Film Festival. Hellmuth beat a star-studded playing pool that included Dave Navarro, Anne Heche, Gina Gershon, Shannon Elizabeth, Danny and Chris Masterson along with poker pros such as Antonio Esfandiari, Annie Duke, Phil Gordon, and Phil Laak.
The grand prize at the Invitational was a condo in the W Las Vegas complex valued at $700,000. Instead of taking the new condo outright, Hellmuth decided to use it as a down payment on a $2 million penthouse in the complex. The typically brash move by Hellmuth has him and Paris Hilton on a collision course for ownership of the penthouse – she has already expressed interest in the top floors.
