THQ Release Mobile Poker Game Based on The Sopranos
Taking tips from The Sopranos on poker games has been in the news lately, thanks to the publication of the latest book to tie in with the hit TV series. But if adopting the tactics of the family straight away and risking destroying lifelong friendships at the baize doesn’t appeal, then the answer has arrived. THQ mobile have just released The Sopranos Poker, available as a download for handsets.
The premise is pretty simple: you pit your wits against the likes of Tony, Paulie Walnuts and Silvio Dante and try and take their cash. It’s all straight forward to start with, with games of five card draw and Texas Hold ‘Em available, but becomes a bit more complicated when you work out how to take a peek at your opponents cards, do a spot of cheating and risk waking up with a horse’s head next to you (not in reality of course, unless you happen to be involved in something underhand). Definitely worth getting hold of to enliven your mobile phone at least.
