Man United Set to Sign Up With Online Casino
British tabloid newspaper, ‘News of the World’ has reported that Manchester United are set to complete the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in world football with online poker provider, Mansion.
The newspaper reported that an unnamed source from the club had promised 'Lawyers will be going over the contract this weekend. We hope to have the deal signed by Monday or Tuesday.'
The Gibraltar-based company have apparently beaten off competition from Etihad Airways, O2, and LG, and will takeover as United’s shirt sponsor in time for the start of the 2006-2007 Premiership season with current shirt sponsor Vodafone making way.
Mansion is a global gambling exchange and recently signed a £40m poker tournament deal with American giants Fox Sports Network.
