After much customer consultation and a complete overhaul of functionality, the Blue Square website has been relaunched. The new-look modern site is much cleaner and presented in a simpler fashion to give customers the option for faster bet placement.
Blue Square, traditionally a bookmaking business, was acquired by the Rank Organisation in January 2003. Since, their product offering has changed over time and therefore the site needed a revamp.
The site has been developed in order to utilise future technological advances which are due to be incorporated on the site in the near future. CEO, Martin Belsham, said, 'We have made noticeable and significant changes that customers will appreciate and have requested. Blue Square will continue to be at the forefront of technological advancements in web design and innovation so that customers can fee comfortable that they are experiencing the best online gaming experience possible.'
Whilst the Blue Square Sports book will remain at the core of the brand, the growth sectors of the company such as their soft games section (Mecca Games) and their poker and casino section have been given more prominence.
