Online Casino Opens Irish Open Poker Market
The excitement is beginning to build for Europe’s oldest poker tournament and fittingly Irish bookmaker, Paddy Power has been the first to announce odds for the Irish Open. The event, to be held in Dublin in April, is one of the richest in Europe with a 1€ million guaranteed prize pool.
The good news for punters who attack the early market odds is that Paddy Power is providing extra value by offering a refund on outright bets placed before the start of the tournament for any player who makes the final table but does not win. Stakes will also be refunded if a bet is placed on a player who does not play in the event.
Currently, only outright bets are being offered but as things progress a host of other markets will spring up. The final table of the event is to be broadcast on Sky Sports 2 on Easter Monday at 9pm with Paddy Power offering ‘running bets’ throughout the night.
