They’re not giving away the title, but aces.com have announced that they are chasing a major sponsorship deal with what they describe as ‘this year’s hottest poker movie’. The site, which offers a retro Vegas feel to its customers, is believed to have spoken to producers and plans to launch the movie with a series of poker themed parties (surprisingly enough) at casinos in both Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
The aim is to get rid of as many prizes on the site itself so that ordinary players can join the party along with the pros and celebs. According to site manager Rene Quesada the movie, “…explores the lifestyle and excitement that poker players dream about. It has all…beautiful women, exotic locations, suspense, cheating and winning.” Sadly, this doesn’t really help to narrow it down, although Burt Reynolds’ Deal could be a good wager for the movie in line for some much needed hype.
