Online Casino and Sportsbook Adds New Payment Provider
Online payment provider Ukash is to be included as a payment option for Ladbroke's customers.
Ladbrokes will support deposits via Ukash vouchers for its online sportsbook, casino and poker room.
The company had recently highlighted its concerns over credit and debit card payments and with the benefit of flexible payment methods offered by Ukash, customers can now deposit sterling and euros.
Ukash works on a similar principle to a pre-paid mobile phone card. Customers can purchase vouchers through Payzone, ePay and PayPoint, and use the vouchers to make payments online.
A spokes person from Ladbrokes.com, said, 'We are excited at the prospect of accepting Ukash as this will address concerns over security and fees. We are keen to be at the forefront of payment alternatives for our customer, and the potential this brings for acquiring new customers.'
According to research performed by Ukash and Ladbrokes, almost 30% of UK customers express concerns over the use of credit cards online.
