They may have found themselves stuck in the middle of the fight over the much-touted Vegas Poker Dome, as well as missing out on a shirt deal with Manchester United. Today though, Mansion finally has something to cheer about. The online casino has signed a deal with English football team Tottenham Hotspur. The deal, at £34 million, might be way below the figures they were said to be thrashing out with the United executives, but it does mean plenty of advertising when Spurs, as they are known, play European football next season. Sadly, they won’t be in the premier Champions League competition, having lost out on qualifying to arch-rivals Arsenal on the final day of the season. Instead, they will take part in the UEFA Cup. Mansion has already uttered the usual pleasantries about Tottenham, although this is unlikely to extend to them bankrolling any of the players. What with poker being the vice of choice for England players (many of whom play for Tottenham), there’s sure to be plenty of noise about the Spurs team’s gambling habits.
