TSN to Air The Great Canadian Poker Tournament
Extreme Poker Ltd, the event coordinating and entertainment company, has announced that it has sealed a deal with TSN, Canada's sports leader, to air its reality TV poker project, The Great Canadian Poker Tournament. TSN have agreed to air 13 hour long episodes of show, which will be produced in September and October by Network Production & Communication Inc.
TSN has said The Great Canadian Poker Tournament will be airing on a time-buy basis: 'Each episode would receive a minimum of three plays with every effort for eastern prime, western prime and a weekday eastern afternoon airing. The series would begin to air early in 2005.'
TSN was established in 1984, and offers live coverage of the world's most prestigious and high-profile sports and sporting events with action from the NHL, international hockey, CFL, NFL, NBA, Olympic Games, F-1, World Cup soccer and more.
