There’s yet more news of a major online poker giveaway coming up, with Canbet announcing their Grand Series of Poker, which is due to run throughout the rest of April. The Grand VII, a $1,000 buy-in tournament for those with a serious bankroll and a bit of a stronger disposition taking place on April 29.
There will also be a $50,000 freeroll event for the 50 players who earn the most points across all the Grand Series events. Points can be earned by pumping money through the Sit ‘n’ Go games, satellites and main events. Once the top 50 has been decided, the freeroll game will round off the Grand Series on May 1, with someone going away a hell of a lot richer than they were at the start of April.
The whole event will help mark the tenth anniversary of Canbet, having launched in 1996 as part of Australian group, International Sportsbook.
