Pools Company Sides with Everton FC
On the eve of the new Premiership season in England, it has been announced that Sportech PLC, owners of Liverpool-based company Littlewoods Pools, has signed a marketing sponsorship deal with Everton Football Club for the Premiership campaign.
The agreement sees Sportech become Everton’s official football gaming partner for the upcoming season, which starts on Saturday (19 August), and will comprise of a new roster of online and offline sponsorship and marketing initiatives to promote the company's gaming portfolio, which includes the Football Pools, Spot The Ball and online casino, poker and bingo products.
Everton’s chief executive Keith Wyness, said, “It is a multi-faceted deal that will further strengthen Littlewoods Pools' relationship with football, as well as ensuring their ever increasing collection of gaming brands are seen by tens of thousands of Everton fans both home and abroad each week.”
Ian Penrose, chief executive of Sportech, explained, “As the club’s official gaming partner, we're also enhancing the range of online games available at evertonfc.com and improving the overall experience for Everton fans who regularly visit the site.”
