The contests being held for fans to win entry are taking place in New York, Chicago, Houston, phoenix, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Registration for the sweepstakes being held to accompany the tournament are open until 12 August. The actual tournament will be held on 26-28 August. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is also working with Clear Channel and the Palms Casino to produce the event.
Winners of the contests being held will not only receive entry into the all in tournament, but will also be given a poker tutorial and dinner with Navarro, Lee and Rzeznik. The winner will take home prize money of US$10,000. Dave Navarro, who has already taken part in the Celebrity Poker Challenge’s third tournament and won the first round, is currently tipped as favourite to win this Rock Star Poker tournament.
