One of the online gaming industry’s leading players has announced that is to be teaming up with the Guinness Premiership’s leading rugby clubs, in a sponsorship deal extended over the next two seasons.
The announcement follows Coral’s sponsorship of the Middlesex Sevens earlier this month, making them the latest major company to become a key partner of Premier Rugby and the Guinness Premiership. The initiative will involve branding on the reverse of all twelve of the Guinness Premiership clubs' playing shirts as well as a comprehensive programme of activity that will benefit the twelve Guinness Premiership clubs through a donation 'bounce back' scheme which directly rewards clubs when their supporters open an account with the company.
Matt Dawson, the former London Wasps, Northampton Saints and England scrum half will also play a key role in the sponsorship. He has signed as the Coral.co.uk ambassador and will host a number of poker nights for club supporters around the country.
Announcing his company's involvement with Premier Rugby and the Guinness Premiership, Dominic Harrison, E-Commerce Managing Director of Coral said: 'This sponsorship is truly exciting for us as it is the first time we have become involved with a sport outside our traditional racing environment for some time,” he said.
