Betfred Teams Up With Manchester United
Manchester United has announced a sponsorship deal with Fred Done and his bookmakers Betfred.
The Manchester based firm has become United's official bookmaking and online gaming partner in a multi-million pound deal.
The deal will see all the betting kiosks in the stadium and corporate areas re-branded and a Betfred/Manchester United website, offering Betfred gaming including poker, casino and traditional betting.
Mr Done said: 'This is a dream come true. I've been a season ticket holder at United for 45 years and the opportunity to be an official partner was a deal I could not pass up.'
Under the terms of the deal, Betfred will also be creating fans' events and linking up with MUTV, with gaming specials for viewers.
Manchester United’s CEO David Gill, said, 'Betfred is a growing world-wide brand and is one of the most respected of all UK bookmakers. Fred's business acumen together with his love for the club can only be good for our fans and our business.'
