English Player to represent Online Casino at WPT
Online poker room, Titan Poker, will have Piers Shepperson from Slough, England representing them at the upcoming World Poker Finals.
Shepperson won his seat at the event, being held between November 11 and 14 at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, playing the World Poker Tour 'Pick Your Tournament' series.
The unique tournament series offers winners a $12,000 package to one of these upcoming poker events, allowing the player to choose the date and destination.
Shepperson (nickname BlindWombat) is the second Titan Poker player to win a World Poker Tour 'Pick Your Tournament.' He said, 'I feel really great about winning the World Poker Tour 'Pick Your Tournament.' I am very keen to play in a WPT Tournament for the first time and represent Titan Poker at such an exciting event.'
Titan Poker players have three more chances to 'pick' their seat at the World Poker Tour, with three remaining Satellites coming up over the next few months.
Each Satellite offers players the opportunity to win seats at World Poker Open at Gold Strike Casino, Tunica in January 2007; the LA Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino, Commerce, in February, 2007 or the Bay 101 at the Shooting Star Bay 101, San Jose in March 2007.
