PokerStars Capitalises on Bond Fever with DBS Tourney
PokerStars has launched a series of daily satellites for a tournament that will see one lucky player drive off in the James Bond style Aston Martin DBS.
The overall winner will be the first person in the world to own the new Aston Martin DBS, which is featured in the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale. So exclusive is this car, it will not be available until the end of 2007 and a limited number will only ever be produced.
Details about the new car remain hushed, though Aston Martin design director, Marek Reichman, said: 'This car encapsulates a link between our elegant DB9 road car and the powerful DBR9 race car. It signals an evolutionary development of Aston Martin's world renowned style and elegance.'
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to drive like James Bond takes place on December 9 at 15:00 ET. In addition to the car for the first place winner, the PokerStars freeroll has an additional $100,000 in cash prizes for places 2nd through 199th meaning that the total prizepool for the December 9 freeroll will exceed $300,000.
