Yet another lucky Purple Lounge poker player has triumphed at the online tables, winning a coveted Aussie Millions package.
The player is poker enthusiast Christoffer Stahle. He’ll now be playing at the 2007 Aussie Millions Poker Championship, which is being billed as the southern hemisphere’s premier poker event, in January.
The Crown Casino, in Melbourne, Australia will play host to the Aussie Millions event and the Purple Lounge package, valued at almost US$13,000 includes return airfare to Australia, luxury accommodation in Melbourne, main event buy-in and spending money.
“Everything is set for this to be the trip of a lifetime for our lucky winner,” said a Purple Lounge spokesperson. “Australia will be blooming in mid-summer.”
With an estimated prize pool of almost AU$6,000,000, it certainly looks set to be sizzling down under when the five-day main event gets underway on January 14.
“We wish Christoffer the very best of luck as it would be simply fantastic to see him win big over in Australia,” continued Purple Lounge’s spokesperson. “But most of all we hope he enjoys the whole experience. We’re certain he will.”
