Bad Beat Poker Psycho Skips Town

A man who tried to shoot his opponents following a home game of poker, has gone on the run after a County Judge in Williamsport, Pennsylvania issued a bench warrant against him.

45 year-old Harold Hoskins, decided to run rather than face sentencing, and will forfeit his $40,000 bail.

The trial surrounded Hoskins’ reaction to busting out of a poker game, when tried to shoot his opponents, but luckily, the gun was jammed by incorrect ammunition.

During the trial, witnesses and prosecutors were able to build up a solid picture of Hoskins’ actions on the night in question, despite many of the witnesses being extremely reluctant, with one failing to remember anything.

James Drummond and Linda Bower had invited Hoskins to a home-game. On losing his final hand Hoskins got angry and left. While most bad losers would have left it at that, Hoskins returned with a gun. While trying to get the remaining money, he held the gun to one of the player’s heads, and then he tried to pull the trigger.

A police officer testified that the weapon was wrongly loaded, but that it only contained two bullets.

Hoskins has yet to be found.
