Online Poker Tournament Site Appoints its Latest Star
PokerStars.com, the world’s foremost online poker tournament website, has announced the appointment of Edward Ihre as its new Director, Partners and Affiliates.
Ihre will focus on developing PokerStars.com’s global portfolio of affiliates and commercial partners, as well as identifying and maximising new growth opportunities from the company headquarters in the Isle of Man. Ihre also carries responsibility for the delivery of traffic to the site, through a variety of marketing strategies.
Edward joins PokerStars.com with solid experience from similar position at Ongame/Safeplay Ltd in Stockholm. During this period, he redesigned and structured the affiliate programme, significantly raising its profile in the industry from relative obscurity. This resulted in a ten-fold rise in new customers for PokerRoom.com, HoldemPoker.com, EuroPoker.com, CasinoRoom.com and eCardRoom.com.
