Don Cheadle steps up to defend charity title
A host of celebrities will be descending on the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles on Saturday, but they're not there for hanky-panky, but to play a nice sedate game of poker in the name of charity.
The second annual Celebrity Poker Tournament held in aid of the Urban Health Institute will see silver-screen stars and poker pros battling it out to show their support for a worthy cause.
Don Cheadle will be taking no prisoners as he looks to defend last year's title against Hollywood pals Eddie Griffin, Anthony Anderson, Shannon Elizabeth and Jennifer Tilly.
Guests at the mansion will be treated to a VIP cocktail reception and have the opportunity to bid to win a host of prizes throughout the night.
Serious poker players will be looking to win the Grand Prize tournament in order to get their mitts on two seats in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event, with airfare and accommodation thrown in. Those with no love of the beautiful game can still join in the fun and win prizes playing casino games, such as blackjack and roulette.
All funds raised will go to the Urban Health Institute, a charity set up to deliver medical care to areas hit by humanitarian crises.
