Cherokee Casino gets Toby Keith eaterie
Country music star Toby Keith has announced that he will open his fourth I Love This Bar and Grill restaurant at the Cherokee Casino Resort in Catoosa.
The restaurant, which will feature a fusion of US gourmet and a disco, will cover 10,000 square feet of casino floor and will be jam-packed with Toby Keith memorabilia.
While 400 diners can sit and eat, Keith fans can strut their stuff to live music on the dance floor in the bar area.
It is not the first time that Toby Keith has opened an eaterie in a casino as he has other I Love This Bar and Grill restaurants at two Harrah's casinos in Las Vegas and Kansas.
The country singer named his restaurants after a track on his 2003 album Shock'N Y'all entitled I Love This Bar.
The new restaurant is part of the Cherokee Casino Resort's $125 million expansion, which by 2008, should feature a 20-storey block with 200 luxury rooms and conference suites, expanding the size of the casino resort by 125 per cent and giving it the title of the largest mecca in the state.
