Bodog Expands Into the European Market
Bodog, a US online gambling and entertainment group that has a portfolio that includes an online casino and poker room, has announced that it is planning to break the UK with a range of new products.
The multi-faceted company is starting its onslaught of the UK market with Bodog Entertainment’s hosting of a luxurious after party for rap group Wu-Tan Clan, signed to Bodog Music, on July 5.
'We have been itching to get into the UK market and could not resist throwing a party for our new act the Wu-Tang Clan,” said Calvin Ayre, Founder of Bodog.com. “This party will have all the elements of a legendary Bodog event – great music, a fantastic crowd and stunning Bodog girls.”
Bodog is set to launch its betting services for British players this autumn; and users of the site will be able to play casino and poker on Bodog.com using pound sterling accounts as well as being able place bets on key UK sporting fixtures in football, cricket, rugby and horse racing. The site will also offer a selection of pop culture bets for British reality tv programmes alongside celebrity proposition bets.
