Online Gaming Company Signs with Youbet.com
Boyd Gaming Corporation has signed a deal with Youbet.com to allow wagering among Youbet's 210,000 subscribers.
Youbet.com, the online gambling company based in Woodland Hills, will feature Boyd’s Delta Downs Racetrack on its online advance deposit wagering website and use its e-direct marketing and customer incentive programmes to develop national wagering for the track.
In return, Delta Downs will carry on-track signage, TV spots, and home-page banner ads.
Financial columnist Michael Glassman, wrote. “Boyd keeps delivering on its promise to investors. They continue to create new markets and discover creative ways of generating interest and revenue.”
Youbet CEO Charles Champion supported this view in his statement, saying. “Youbet, with its own national presence and its own database, is uniquely suited to this kind of collaborative handle and fan-growth oriented effort.”
Also valued in the financial sector, Boyd Senior management will give a presentation at Lehman brothers High Yield conference in Scottsdale, Arizona today.
Boyd also owns a number of casinos and has just completed a $10m renovation of four sites in Las Vegas. Investors are confident; a week after the Youbet deal was signed, the company saw shares go up over by 12%, to $49.
