Viper Takes Another Bite Into Online Casino Industry
Microgaming has announced that its new Multi-Player Viper (MPV) software has gone live on the Royal Vegas Casino (part of the Fortune Lounge Group).
The pioneering new software will not require any separate download and players can simply register an alias for regular Viper player accounts that can be used for MPV play.
The first stage of Microgaming’s new MPV product will contain slot tournaments, offering players all the excitement associated with normal slot games, but with added tension, as players compete against each other for the winning prize.
This first release on Royal Vegas has two slots; Thunderstruck and Tomb Raider. Tomb Raider has already proved to be a hit across all gaming platforms, and the franchise is set to go from strength to strength.
Microgaming CEO, Roger Raatgever, explained, “We are at the beginning of MPV but it is very much a case of watch this space. Once rolled out across all our operators we will aim for the largest slot tournament community and largest tournament jackpot. But that’s just the beginning; we have other games in the pipeline - meanwhile enjoy the ride.”
