Online Casino Zeros in on Betfair Users
Malta-based online casino, Betfair, has announced the launch of its new online casino, Zero Lounge, an innovative site that is expected to lure over 80 percent of Betfair's users.
The site offers adapted versions of Roulette, Blackjack, Jacks or Better, and Baccarat, without the obstacle of a house edge. In tribute to its name the casino will offer visitors the chance to play roulette, with the zero completely removed. Players can then bet on a colour and have a 50 percent chance of winning.
Oliver Bowen, a spokesman for Betfair, said, “For these adapted games, the rules maintaining a consistent house edge have been changed so that players are given a fair chance.”
In order to capitalise on the zero house edge, players will have to play the correct strategy on Zero Lounge games of Blackjack, Baccarat, and Jacks or Better, but Roulette will consistently offer zero edge regardless of strategy.
